How is April 25th as an RSVP date for my 6/5 wedding. I really wanted to do it before my law finals start, which is first week of may until mid may. But is this too far in advance?

I think that RSVP date is perfect especially since your alleviating your stress due to your law finals (which is important for a soon to be ) but keep in mind you may want to solicit the help of one of your bridesmaids or FH to make the follow-up phone calls for those who forget to RSVP. Thats plenty of time. Also when are you sending the invites out? Typically the RSVP date is one month after you send the invites out.
Im sending my invites out on April 15 and having May 15 as the RSVP date. ...even tho my wedding is 7/4. So much more convenient to have it early.
Also, my dad is a calligrapher and told me its ALWAYS the same situation no matter what how much time you give guests. You'll get a flood of RSVPs the first week, then some will trickle in over the next couple of weeks; and then you'll always have those handful of people that forget to send it in or assume u know theyre coming and you have to call them.
Make it convenient for you!

That should be fine as long as you send our invites a month in advance that gives people plenty of time.

That's sounds like enough time to me. Like the other girls said, just make sure you send out the invites early enough for your guests.

I actually did a RSVP date three weeks before the actual wedding date, and sent out my invites last weekend. But I think that is enough time. For some reason people wait until the last minute to respond to them.

i'm june 5 and our rsvp date is may 1..... im kinda regretting not making it earlier to be honest so i think april 25 is fine

if its easier for you to do it before your finals start, i say go for it!
i think it will alsomake it easier once you have to chase after people who may not have RSVP'd yet

Yup thats exactly why I was thinking of doing it that Monday 4/25 so that way I can call the people who havent Rsvped by the end of that week. Thanks ladies!!
