RSVP deadline is tomorrow

RSVP deadline is tomorrow

and 85 people still haven't responded - that is over 1/3 the total guestlist! What are the chances I get 85 responses tomorrow? UGH - a few have mentioned 'they can't wait for the wedding' and yet no RSVP. It is PRESTAMPED - just check a box, write a number and stick it in the mailbox

Don't worry, we had the same problem. I hated the thought of 'chasing' people for answers too. Give them till Saturday, and then break out your list.

Mine is tomorrow too, we are still waiting for 35 responses.

Going to start sending emails next week.

Hee Hee! Isn't it fun....NOT! My response date was last week 5/25 and we still have 72 people to respond. I tolf FH we'll make calls next week!

i have that problem too. waiting on 65 people to respond. it is insane.

Does anyoone know the etiquette on calling. Somewhere I heard that the bride and groom shouldnt call...isnt that awkward..'are you coming to my wedding?'

I think I might ask one of my BM to call. Any opinions on this while we are on the subject od rude peopele who dont RSVP.

it is sooo rude!! ours is this saturday, and i am still waiting for a lot, like we didn't give them enough time and the friggin stamp is already on there. either sh*t or get off the pot!!!

It's really hard to check the box, put the response in the envelope and then leave it in the mail box. You have no idea the level of difficulty it is and the amount of time it takes.

Will you make your minimum?

I hear you...people are just rude...now people are just telling us verbally....it just annoys me that invites have been lost by people and they can't throw a prestamped envelope in the mail

mine is tomorrow too and i am waiting on 22 responses..

i just do not get it.

one of my cousins had a destination wedding in florida a few years ago and he is mad that nobody went to his well hello dont come to mine bc you chose that what an a-hole!!

we are so under the minimum errrrrrrrrr

Completely agree...i keep on saying if i knew you werent going to send it back i would not have put a stamp on it

Yeah am not worried about making it - alot of the responses that haven't come in are sure things - who I KNOW are coming but are lazy.

My BM just emailed me to say that she doesn't have a date but wants to bring one, which is why she hasn't responded. She asked if she can respond for one and if she finds someone just show up with them that day. UGH

I seriously will never understand how people can ask that. I mean, if she started dating someone in the last month or so, I'd understand asking about bringing a date. But to just show up with a random? Where do they sit? On her lap?

I toally hear you!!! Ou RSVP date is tom. too and we are wating for like 50 responses!!! It's is sooooooooo freakin annoying!!! THERE IS A STAMP ON IT!!!!!!!!!

When is it ok to call people? I figured once the RSVP date comes it is ok b/c we need to know!!!! It is just so annoying!!!!!!!
