rsvp envelope

rsvp envelope

I don't know what name to put with the addess on the rsvp envelope. FH and I are paying for the wedding, but we don't live together. The rsvps would probably come to my house, but my mom and I were talking and we dont know if they should be addressed to only me, to my parents, or just have our last name and the word family or household. Something I never thought about, but now I am curious about your input. How did everyone else handle this situation?

Thanks!

Why not put the rsvp to you and your fh but just have them come to your address...

I agree. You can put both your names and put your address. I don't think your FH would mind or would he? It's mostly us women who would handle this part anyway. LOL
Fh and I live together but I did put both our names on the envelope.

nah, he wouldn't mind, he really doesn't care who it is addressed to, but I wasn't sure if I should do that, since he doesn't live there

ok, thanks girls

I was in the same boat as you. I had the RSVPs come to me in my name. 'Tradition' says that they should be mailed to the bride's home (not that you have to follow that though!!)

Just do whatever you want, honestly nobody is paying attention to who its being sent to really and thinking oh look how they did it, most wont even notice lol.

I put both of our names but had them sent to DH's house. For me this was the best way bc at the time I only had one copy of my mailbox key, i live in a building and i didnt always have the key. Plus if i was gonna have so many rsvp's coming in at once plus all my mail it will all get so crammed in the mailbox. Dh lived in a 1 family house at the time and I just felt it was better if it went to his house. Plus at that time i was always going to his house after work so would see it faster too

I had both DH and my name on it and sent to my dad's house since we were not living together.
