Specifically for girls who have/had pocketfolds, though all input welcome, where did you put them?
I was thinking behind all the insert cards so when it's opened, you still get the full effect. But then I thought maybe in front of the inserts, just so everyone really knows they're there, even though it ruins the 'look'.
My father said either put it on top of the main invite in the folder, though not in the pocket, or in the main envelope completely outside of the pocket all together. Either way, I know I'm going to have some cracker jack guests who will lose the envelope, not realize it's in there, etc...so damned if I do, damned if I don't really.
So what did you all do?

Re: RSVP Envelope Question
LOL it's ok...9/8, I didn't want them to be sitting stagnant over Labor Day weekend, and I have a pretty early final count due date and a ton of OOT, so I'm doing it a bit early.

I don't think it's tooooo late...it'd be too late for me because I'm a nut, but also you have to know your audience. Are your guests prompt and courteous? If so, you should be ok. I, on the other hand...well, I know my audience, and for me it's necessary to send them early LOL.

I had the same issue deciding! I didn't want to ruin the effect and at the same time, I didn't want people to not see it... Ultimately, I slipped it in between the RSVP card and the next card in the pocket figuring that most people will take out all the cards and look thru them and come across the envelope. I haven't had anyone say that they didn't see it and I've gotten most of them back so far so I guess it worked. I'll let you know in another week

Re: RSVP Envelope Question
We put ours right behind the personalized response card b/c when we put it behind all of the other inserts you couldnt really see it.
I decided to put hotel info in the back and can you believe some people didnt even notice them? So imagine if I put the response envelopes back there?
Getting RSVPs back are a pain in the a$$ and if its not in an obvious place... some people just dont get it

Re: RSVP Envelope Question
Mine were the first of the pocket folds, but I had them all different sizes with shells, so they fit together.
The envelope was the turquoise one in front.
I would put it up front, you don't want it to get lost.

Re: RSVP Envelope Question
I tucked the RSVP in front of the envelope so my guests could know exactly where it was.

Re: RSVP Envelope Question
I have pretty much the SAME invitations as you... design and look aside.
I am putting my response envelopes behind the Directions card. So essentially you won't be able to see it when you open the card. I like it that way because it doesn't ruin the effect of the invite. Also, remember people are going to take all those cards out so they will most definately see the response envelope.

Ali if we did something like this it would TOTALLY cover the response card.... and maybe even some of the card behind it too.
