Re: rsvp envelopes?
who's issuing the invitation. i.e. if the invite says John and Mary, together with their parents.......
then it would be John and Mary.
if it's Mr and Mrs X request the honour.......at the marriage of their daughter, then it's usually the parents

it is me & FH together w/ the parents - but we dont 'officailly' live together yet. so put both names and parents address? or both names and our 'new' address? or just my name and my parents address??
what do you think?

Where do you go everyday after work? If you go to the new place then have it go there, this way you don't have to drive back & forth to get mail. I would put both names at the new address. But tell Matt that only you are allowed to open them..lol

Re: rsvp envelopes?
I have both of our parents names on the invitation. However, I have my name and address on the response envelope... I don't think there is a right or wrong way..it's up to you!

Me too! I figure it would be easier for me to track that way. Friends of ours do it as well.
My reasoning was that I'm going to be the one tracking the RSVPs and I don't live with my parents anymore. Do whatever makes the most sense and is easiest!

Re: rsvp envelopes?
My parents were listed on the invitation, but I had the RSVP's sent to me. I was the one keeping track of them, so it just made more sense.

Re: rsvp envelopes?
They were mailed to FH and I at our apt since we don't live with our parents anymore.

Me too. My invites are technically coming from my parents, but the RSVPs are coming to me. I would have sent them to my parents but they are going away on vacation for 3 weeks right in the middle of my RSVP time and it would drive me crazy not knowing what was going on (they live on LI and I like in NJ so I couldn't pop by everyday).

Re: rsvp envelopes?
Tricia, I was living in two different places around RSVP time - I had everything sent to me at my parents house. Mom was worried that if I sent them to my other address, the family would talk.

Re: rsvp envelopes?
Even though the invite says my parents names, i have the rsvps in my name going to my address, I told my mom that way its easier for me to keep track and one less thing she needs to do.

Re: rsvp envelopes?
My RSVP envelopes were in my name b/c dh and I paid for most of our wedding. A friend of mine who got married had hers in her moms name b/c her mom paid for the wedding,
