RSVP HELP?

RSVP HELP?

help... have an odd question. FH are paying for the bulk of the wedding ourselves, but on the invitation we're wording is so that both sets of parents are hosting. i want to receive the RSVP's at our house, because we are tracking the guest list, paying the hall etc. Does this look bad? And, what would the response card be addressed to- my full name followed by FH's full name? Grr I need a lot of help!! thanks girls..

Nope, doesn't look bad. My parents are paying for the wedding and are listed as hosting, so RSVPs are going to them. FH and I live together out of state, but I'll be spending 7 weeks in NY this summer so hopefully I'll be at my parents house when the bulk of RSVPs come in.

You can totally have them sent to you. I guess you can list your names as you suggested

To have the RSVP's going to you does not look bad at all (I would hope not bc that is what I am doing )
I am having the RSVP's mailed to only my full name and our address.
What ever you feel the most comfortable with do, it is your day.

RSVP's going to you does not look bad at all. Trust me most people will not even pay attention. I recommend using only your name.

not at all- you can have them go to you

We have all names on the invite but the rsvps are going to us

We're paying for most of it, our invite says 'together with thier parents....' and the RSVPs are going to us, well, me....my name is on the envelope though we live together. I think it looks better with just one name and you're right, you're the one who'll be updating the list so they should be addressed to you. Have fun!
