Just a heads up..i received an RSVP from an OOT guest. Usually I take the card and throw the envelope away, but for this one i decided to keep it b/c they had written their address and i wanted to make sure it was the right one i had etc. Luckily I didnt throw it out b/c when i looked inside, there was a folded check! So just a reminder to dig inside those rsvp envelopes
Now my question is -- do I wait for my professional thank yous to send a card or send one now?

What you might want to do is pop them a quick personal phonecall and thank them - and then send the thankyou when u would normally do

You could probably send a little note (or call, if you are close enough with the person) thanking them for their gift and saying how you wish they could make it. Then, when you get you professional thank yous you could always send one saying something like 'wish you could have been there'

on your main list of people write how much they gave you... and that is the list you go by with everyone else!!!! when you send all your thank yous out!!!!

you can send out regular thank yoo's and put a message stating that you can't wait to see them and you are greatful for the gift
