If you receive a rsvp that they can't make it and they send a gift, do you send the thank you now or when you send the wedding thank you's?

Re: RSVP No's and gift
Honestly I have no idea but I would think you should send one now.. I had to RSVP no to someones wedding but I sent a gift and never heard from them. I checked the tracking on the package and it said it was left on their door step. so now im freaking out that they never got it to begin with

Re: RSVP No's and gift
Hi!! Congrats!! About 5 days before the wedding, I wrote out about 10-15 thank you's (just used my cute bridal-y ones) for wedding gifts I had received before the wedding. They were mostly people who weren't coming, but a lot of my mom's friends sent wedding gifts off our registry so we thanked them ahead of time and will also send them a photo thank you when we do those. Good luck! I would do some now just to be polite and then you don't have to think about it again. Trust me, you're not going to have a minute once the RD rolls around.

I would send the thank you when you send the rest of the thank you's for the wedding.

Re: RSVP No's and gift
i sent thank you's to those who gave gifts before the wedding. I even had a cousin send a check with his response card and he came to the wedding too. guess he didn't want to worry about bringing it later!
I actually sent a simple note card thank you before the wedding and then the official thank you card to those people again, after the wedding. so they had our pictures.
