RSVP on Invites

RSVP on Invites

What did you use as your RSVP? 1 month prior to wedding? 2 weeks? I have no idea. I'm going to ask my hall when they need the final number and maybe I'll add 2 weeks to that.

What did you ladies use?

My wedding date is April 1st and i'm using March 11th as the rsvp due date.

Definitely call your hall to find out when they need your numbers!

Wedding 2/18
RSVP 1/18
Final headcount due 2 days before and is always subject to change.

And when did you send them out? I was thinking of sending them 2 months prior. Is 1 month enough time to RSVP?

My invite lady has been in the business for 30 years and she told me 2 months prior you send them out (unless it's a holiday weekend- then it's 10 weeks...unless of course, you sent out STD- then 8 weeks is fine) and the RSVP is about a month, maybe a few days before....

I made my RSVP date 6 weeks prior to the wedding...I want to give some extra time to those slow RSVP'ers! I don't have to give my final number til the week prior!

I didn't see this, I am actually sending my invitations out on Jan 3rd which is 12 weeks prior

Our RSVP date was almost 6 weeks prior to the wedding. We sent out our invites 11 weeks before the wedding.

I'm sending mine out eight weeks before and I ask that they RSVP one month before the date. Knowing my guest, I'll be getting RSVP's after my wedding day.
