So I have to guarantee 150 people at our hall and we would like to have as close as possible to that number attending the wedding. We have created a list of invites and we have about 220. What do you think the final guest could be if we are inviting 220? If I have to I will try to cut the list down. But then again I don't want to cut myself short. HELP!!!

I invited 211 and if all my 68 outstanding rsvps respond yes i'll be at 191...i doubt that, i'm sure there may be at least 2 or 3 more no's but we'll see. i'd say count on a 10% no rate...but then again you'll also have additions of people that maybe have been forgotten along the way or people who ask to bring another guest...so account for that too. I think if you invite 200 ...you can most likely prepare to pay extra for more people...unless you're inviting alot of out of town guests or guests who may have 'bad blood' with other guests.

I totally defied all statistics.
I invited 215 and expected 175...I'm only at 138 right now and the outstanding rsvp's I expect to be no's.

I wish I could help but I'm off by my percentage. We invited 190 people because FH thought we might be under our minimum of 125. As of tonight we have 131 yes and 9 no's. I'm still missing 50 rsvp's, half of which are yes.

It's hard to figure that out...the average statistic is 20%, but many brides have more or less than that attending I got married at LE and chatted with some brides who got married at FF...one thing I do know (this happened to me) is that if you don't make your mininum, they only split the difference with you...they won't throw anything in to make up for the cost I would invite as many guests as you can to make sure you meet your mininum...I wouldn't cut your list...JMHO

the average seems to always work out to 20-25% so i would shoot for that
we invited 190 and ended up with 138 so about 25% for us

We are at a minimum of 175 we have 20 no right now out of 229 invited
