4...and YES they gave BS excuses...OH and one woman said she supposedly told someone else to tell me mother....which was a LIE!

I had 6....Two were due to a family illness (heart attack two days before), two said, 'I didn't realize how far away you were getting married.' (???), and two were people who RSVP'd with dates and then came solo.

4 People never even called or sent a note - I still have not heard from them. They just did not show. The other 3 said they had transportation or child care problems.

I had one girl who was supposed to be my brother's date. I was mad but I just felt worse for him!!!!!!
And my cousin's boyfriend, which I didn't even notice until she came up to apologize to me.
So that makes 2.

10 no shows... many of them never even called... to this day we haven't heard from at least 5 of them.

4 no shows. But 2 called 2 days before to say their baby came down with pneumonia. The other 2 no shows were people that responded with dates and came solo.
We're still waiting for 20 RSVPs though.

We had 13 people not show up (we invited 429 and were expecting 325 on the day of and ended up with 312).
5 people had a sick child/parent (they sent a gift with a relative or their significant other attended) 2 people responded with guest and didn't bring a guest 2 people got stuck in the midwest due to incliment weather 4 people 'forgot' or didn't give a reason (my mom's cousins)

None. I had one couple RSVP that they were coming who called the morning of the wedding and explained their child was sick and they couldn't make it. When I saw her two days after the wedding she said she hoped I didn't mind being called the day of to cancel but she didn't feel right not letting me know until after the fact what had come up.

I had one couple not show. He was a very very good friend. We spoke the night before when I called to ask him why he hadn't reserved a hotel room (he lives out of state). I should have known. We are no longer friends.

We had 4.
2 got in an accident on the way and had to turn around
1 decided he didn't like someone else that was coming to the wedding and has since 'disowned' the family
1 (my lowlife first cousin) decided that for the first time in his 22 years he was actually going to get a job...and oops his first day was my wedding day (ps...he got 'laid off' a week later)
