How soon before the wedding are you supposed to send your invitations out?
How soon before the wedding should the RSVP date be?

RSVP date is usually a month before your wedding date... considering all the rsvp trouble ive seen previous girls have we did like 6 weeks prior... June 1st... we are sending the invites middle/end of april...

the process should start appx 3 mos before your wedding date

agreed and I am planning on putting a 6 weeks prior RSVP date.

me too. sending them out early/mid April so that I can get them back by June 1st. I want at least 6 weeks to get all rsvp's back (i know some will be after the deadline) as I work in a school and I want as much time as possible to get them done. I figured allow an extra 2 weeks for the stragglers and to call people who haven't responded and all should be done hopefully by the end of the month. I want to last 3 weeks before the wedding free to get stuff done and I don't need the seating chart at the top of my list.

I really want to send them out April 1st (April Fool's Day) b/c FH and I have been together 12 years and I wanted to see if anyone would notice. kinda like is this for real? it would suite us so well. But def sending them out by the mid of April
