RSVP Question..

So Ive had a couple people from work tell me that theyre only coming to cocktail hour and not the reception. Do I still include them in the head count? I thought that since there wont be a dinner needed for them, that they wouldnt count but FI thinks otherwise... I dont wanna shoot myself in the foot here.. What do you girls think? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

RSVP Question.. - Long Island Weddings

What?! That's crazy. I would assume if you told the hall this they would prob still make you pay the full price. So, I probably wouldn't say anything. I would hate to pay full price for someone who is staying only an hour. Why are these particular guests only staying for CH anyways?!

RSVP Question.. - Long Island Weddings

Honestly, if it was me I'd tell them not to bother coming at all lol. I think that's just my frustrations with all the 'Accepts but...' RSVPs I've gotten.

I would ask your contact at your RH what their thoughts are.

RSVP Question.. - Long Island Weddings

FHs SILs parents are coming to ours only for the cocktail hour, after they will be taking my 1 year old future nephew back to their hotel, its way past his bedtime. I did not include them in my final headcount as they will not be getting a meal.

RSVP Question.. - Long Island Weddings

My manager from my job and his wife only made it to the cocktail hour because he had to go to his brothers house that night. His niece was getting married the next day so he told me to not include them in the head count. I was happy he told me so that I was able to do my table seating and get the final head count to Jericho on time.
