So, getting married 2/20/09. Already have my invites with a rsvp of 1 month before...How early do you think I can send them out? want to give enough time for slackers...lol

IMO, the more time you give people, the easier it will be for them to forget...
Dont send it too early unless you have a B list that you need to cater to!
ETA: For a more definitive answer that I didnt give you LOL... I would ask the 08er... They are the ones with experience in that area! Anything we say is going to be a pure guessing game!

I would do right after or before turkey day so some can respond before xmas- people get all wrapped up with holidays

We are getting married on 2/7/09 and we are going to send our invites either right before or after Turkey to give people more time since the holidays are between then and our wedding date. Probably right after Turkey Day. Hope this helps!

WELL IM SENDING MINE OUT ABOUT 2/3 MONTHS BEFORE WEDDING. FOR BLIST PURPOSES. BUT I WILL PUT A 5 WEEK RSVP TIME.

I would send it out about a month before your RSVP date. Honestly, when guests get an invite way before the wedding, they see it as they have plenty of time to respond they put it away and forget. I had a problem with my invitation company and they didnt get it to me in time and i had to make my own, so mine went out a little bit later that most ppl send it. After the first week that ppl received theirs, i seemed to get more responses than those who sent out earlier than me. I had probably 100 or more responses in the first week
