RSVP response vent!

Ugh...so. This guy that I went to camp with my whole childhood and I reconnected a couple of years ago...we dated briefly but mostly we were just friends. When it came time for the wedding, I wasn't planning on inviting him since we were keeping it small and there were others of my friends who I was much closer to that I wanted to invite.

THEN...he texts me on New Years telling me how excited he is for the new year because he gets to help me celebrate my wedding! I was so thrown off, but I put him on the invite list because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of telling him he wasn't invited.

This week is my RSVP deadline...I still hadn't heard from him so last week I wrote on his FB wall asking if he got the invite because we hadn't received his RSVP yet. He had been on FB since then and not responded which I thought was rude...then today I get his RSVP...HE'S NOT COMING!!!

Dude, you suckered an invite out of me and now you're not coming??? JERK!

We had the same crap happen. The people who were the most 'excited' to come to our wedding, were the ones who said no. I don't get it

i hate when people ignore you on FB ... it's so obnoxious!

That happened to me TWICE! One was ALL about coming and then RSVPed no. Another one gave me the run around until the week before the wedding, then finally said yes and she's bringing a date and then didn't show!

What's wrong with people?!

Ugh, that happened to us too. The people who talked about how they were 'soooo excited' and got an invite out of us even though we hadn't planned on inviting them were the ones who we had to ask if they were coming because they never sent the rsvp back, and they responded no. Don't you love it??
