RSVP return address question

When you all made up your return address envelopes for the RSVP who was it made out to? You and FH or your parents?

Re: RSVP return address question

I had mine and my FH's name on them, we live together....so it was our address.

i made it to my mom...FH and I live together but I felt that I should still send them to my mom since she is paying for most the wedding. Although I am going to be harrassing her everyday and going to her house everyday to open envelopes which will be a pain but i just personally felt it was the thing to do...

BUT i think anything you personally prefer is what you should do..i dont think there is any right or wrong way

Re: RSVP return address question

Our RSVPs are addressed to my apartment since I'm keeping track of everything.

Whoever is keeping track of everything should get the responses.

I think it depends on who is hosting your wedding. Fh and I paid for everything ourselves so we had them come to my home.

They have my name on them but are going to my mom's house. FH and I would really, really love to buy a house like right now so we don't know where we're going to be living in October. It was easiest this way since my mom's not moving.

It's a little strange though because I've never lived in that house with her.......She moved after I was already on my own.

Make that three. We're actually moving this weekend (totally unexpected when we were getting the invites made up), and the return address says my last name-FH's last name, then our address. Do you think that will trigger the mailman to forward those cards, or should we ask our former landlords to hold onto them and forward them to us personally? (They decided to try to sell the house again, so that's why we're moving.)

Re: RSVP return address question

I'm moving in July and being that it lines up with when my invites go out, I'm just sending them to moms so I don't miss any. Mom's house, my and FH names.

Addressed to my parents.

Re: RSVP return address question

My parents are hosting the wedding so RSVPs are going to their house. I made my mom promise not to open any, though, w/o calling me so we can do it 'together.'
