RSVP took 1.5 weeks to get from Massapequa to Wantagh!
Anyone else have trouble with the post office? We got an rsvp yesterday that should have arrived last week - not sure why it took over a week to go two towns ... my mom thinks it's because it's so tiny, they are getting 'misplaced' at the post office???? I doubt that ...
Anyone have any insight on this? Could be why I am missing half still - are they sitting at the post office???

who knows with the post office! Depending on which one you go to, the workers could really be mis placing them. I go to one inthe city sometimes and they seem to be the sloooowest workers ever. Like it'll take them 5 minutes to sell a book of stamps! A little craazy!
Im sure yours will arrive soon though!! :)

Me too! My best friend mailed the RSVP three weeks ago, and i still didn't get it. my aunt sent hers along with her two kids. I got one on a Monday, the other a week and a half later, and the third I never got.
My brother mailed it in the post office ON MY CORNER. Took 2.5 weeks to get to me. On the other hand, I've received responses in one day.
POST OFFICE STINKS!

Oh my ... I never thought about the PO losing rsvps alltogether .... hope this doesn't happen to me!

I would def. think they are getting lost in something. They get stuck in magazines and what not. At least you got it!

Please we are dealing with the same thing. it is so annoying! FH great aunt says she put it in the mail the same day as her daughters (they live together) and we only got the daughters response and not hers. So weird how the mail system works. You either have to deal with lazy a$$ people who cannot seem to put a self adressed stamped envelope in the mail or the post office who mysteriously loses mail when it is sent from a few towns away! So frustrating!!

i did rsvp postcards and they were smaller than normal postcards and i got mostly all of them back. about 3 people said they sent them and i never received them.

its weird but i keep hearing this lately, W** is going on????
i had no problems and never did. Just about everyone got it the next day, even ppl who lived a bit further away, some got it 2 days later and always has been my experience.
BUT you are not the first to post about this recently, they need to get their act together. SOmebody the other day even was complaining that they sent a bill on time, even before it was due and they just saw they had a late charge. They couldnt understand why and the company was saying the date they received it and she kept saying that it cant be true bc she had sent it out a while ago.

We had a problem in Aug.
FH sent Duet our 2nd payment from Farmingville to Huntington....mind your priority and it go there over a week late. It was so embarrassing..because we sent it about a week before the payment was due.

i never received rsvps from guests, good people who i am sure sent them out......
service gets worse and worse, yet postage goes up and up.....
