WHY do people think it's ok to rsvp for 2 people when only 1 was invited???? I am so mad right now...we invited 240 ppl and the hall only holds 210!!! And some relative of FH's (that I've never even met) thinks he is bringing a guest!

Re: RSVP vent
that is insane-- nip that in the bud!
Put someone in charge of calling these people and let them know what the situation is.

Re: RSVP vent
i would call myself but i've never met him before - i want to tell FMIL to call but she'll probably say to let him come with a guest. i mean, this guy never bothered to respond to our e-party invite, so i thought of him as a definite 'no'!

Re: RSVP vent
That is seriously my worst fear. In ordering my invitations I tried to come up with every conceivable way to make sure people know exactly who and who isn't invited but I just KNOW that some people are going to do that. If you don't have the room then I would call him and explain that there just isn't any room for 1 other person.
