rsvp vent

So my uncle in Trinidad constantly called my mom saying he thought he was invited to the wedding and that he never received an invitation. I spoke to him in January and told him I just ordered invitations and he will get one when they are finished.

I send the invitations to Trinidad with a family friend and he gets his invitation and never calls to let us know he received it. He calls my aunt last night and tells her to tell my mother he will be at the wedding. I told my mom, I'm not counting that as an RSVP, my aunt isn't paying for my wedding and he needs to tell MY MOTHER he's coming.

I don't understand people. You annoy me asking for an invitation and then you don't have the courtesy to RSVP to us, you tell my aunt.

People have NO clue how frustrating this is...ugH!

I'm getting so sick of this RSVP crap

its not only OOTers who have an RSVP issue.

its everyone & anyone who has NEVER EVER had to pay any amount of money for people who may or may not show up to a wedding.

i just received FMILs RSVP yesterday & our RSVP date is tomorrow. & i work with her everyday.

It's so annoying. I don't understand why it's so difficult to check yes or no and put it in the mailbox. People don't even have to write their names, I numbered their cards but still it's such a such a problem for them. My cousins tell me, after watching me plan a wedding they would rather elope or do a destination wedding.

people just dont know how these things work huh???
its not a difficult concept.....
