You give people 6wks (sometimes more) to RSVP, Attach a stamp for convenience of just filling out and throwing in mail AND SOME PEOPLE STILL DONT MAIL IT IN!!!!
I dont get it, im 25 days from wedding, cut off was 10 days ago and some people are still like 'oh yeah im coming, ill send the card'!!!
WTH!! and all of FH friends havent sent their cards but yet'they'll be here!!!
Is it just me? Or should I let it go and pencil them in?
Im anal about stuff like this, AAGGGHHHHHHH

Re: rsvp vent
How annoying!! I think if the people are close friends than I would assume they are coming. Did you call the rest of the people to ask if they would be there?? It just sucks if they don't show b/c now you just paid for them...

Re: rsvp vent
I am coming up to my RSVP date in 10 days and am missing more than half the RSVP's. I really really dont get my ppl cant respond!!! I totally feel your pain!
I think you should be like 'oh you didnt respond so theres not a spot for you' when they show up at the wedding with no seat. I am half tempted to do this myself lol

Re: rsvp vent
Total same boat as you. I want the rsvp back because to me that means a commitment as opposed to someone just saying they are coming.

Re: rsvp vent
I am totally anal about this kind of stuff. Unless I get the actual card back I am not taking a verbal confirmation, text, or email as an RSVP response because you can end up losing track that way or someone will say yes and then not show up! I am dreading this...just sent out my invitations yesterday and I better get all my responses back by my deadline or I am going to go postal! LOL

Re: rsvp vent
I put my RSVP date almost 7 weeks before the wedding. My mom says it's way to early - but I gave myself an extra week or two to call people. I'm expecting a lot of 'missing' responses and plan to start calling people the DAY after they're due.
