How do you word the invites so that only the person you invite shows up? I don't want anyone that gets invited and can't attend; I don't want them to send replacements.

I guess it would make things kind of hectic b/c you'd have to personalize it to the # invited for each invite

My girlfriend had so many problems with her RSVP's.. She would put the # of guests on the invite and they would cross it out and put what they wanted. How do you grow the balls to do that? I would be LIVID!

PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO THAT???? what in the hell is wrong with people these days? HELL no. Although, if they are coming to the wedding, youd expect a gift from them right? lol.... im such a greedy little brat.
I like the idea of saying that there are two (or however many) seats reserved for your presence.

OMG I can't believe people do that. I would assume that people would only think that the names on the invite would be invited. For example: Mr& Mrs or Ms____ & Guest.
yeah i actually read on BHB like 2 months ago that this one bride said some one crossed out the number and added thier sons and their wives and added like 4 more people !!! thats crzy

I heard of people adding too! I'm nervous about that cause our rh Is obviously kid friendly but FH has way to many cousins for all of them to bring kids (we are talking like adding about 100 other people)
I guess the best thing you can do is put it on the envelope and then put it on the actual response card!
