RSVPs

I hate this part of the wedding planning. We based our minimum on who we thought would come (after they told us they wouldn't miss it for the world) and our 'no' responses are much higher than we thought. It doesn't even look like we'll make the minimum. The RSVPs are due in three days and we only got about half of them back!!! This is so aggravating. I know some people who can't make it have legitimate reasons but others just booked vacations or other plans, even after we told them the date. Makes me want to elope!!! Thanks for letting me vent - I feel a little better.

Some people wait until the due date before they actually send back the RSVPs. I bet the week after the due date, you'll get all the remainders.

Thanks - I'm hoping we get them all next week. I've got so much to do this last month I just don't feel like tracking everyone down.

Don't feel bad, some people may think if they already told you they were coming the rsvp is not that important, I am terrible at sending that stuff back but it's never anything personal I'm just forgetful. It'll all work out.
