I sent my invitations in the beginning of may, with the RSVP date as yesterday. We are still missing a lot of people! I don't understand why it's so hard to check off if you're coming or not, and put it back in an envelope that is already stamped! I need to know how many more favors I have to order and place card holders.

Re: RSVP's
I would say wait until Tuesday and start calling people. But I think you should have made your RSVP date 2 weeks ago (about 6 weeks before the wedding date). Too late now. so definitely call them.

ME too!! As of right now I have 33 people who haven't RSVP'd...we have to call them all this weekend.
Someone posted that the date should have been 2 weeks ago...I don't think that the date should be earlier...1 month prior should be enough time for people to respond.

Re: RSVP's
I know, mine have been coming in very slowly. They are pre-stamped what else does everyone want, for us to fill them out and mail them..JK

Re: RSVP's
How long in advance do you need to send out invites? Do you guys think that if you make the RSVP date closer to the date people receive their invites that they'll respond more promptly?

I sent mine out on June 15th...Too early? I just figured it would give people more time to plan...
