RSVPs

RSVPs

I'm thinking of asking for email/phone RSVPs. Is that too tacky????

I just don't want to wait for them to come in the mail. I'm a very impatient person!

Where did you get your invitations???

Re: RSVPs

i think its about formality, if you ask guests to respond by email or phone they may get the impression that your wedding is a less formal event. i am not a patient person myself, but i know it will be fun to rush to the mail box everyday to tear open those response cards! i plan on checking out party city for invites. ~lacey

I'm planning on ordering from rexcraft.com but haven't done so yet. Got a nice invite for great price. Just waiting on a sample of the cardstock to be sure.

I'm very impatient too. We had to put DH's address on the RSVPs because we hadn't quite closed on our house yet when we ordered the invites. So I had to wait for him to bring them home every couple of days.

But in all honesty, the way I look at it, is that this is your wedding. Whether it's formal or not, it's not just a regular party you would throw on a weekend. I would accept your rsvps via the old fashioned way.
