RSVP's

So, my RSVP date is next Monday. I am still missing about 50 responses.

How long do you wait before you start calling people?

My deadline is 10/4 and honestly I'm going to start calling people about 5 days after. We're having a DW and I really need my numbers early to accomodate certain things. I think the norm is about a week.

I stared with friends the day after the RSVP date. Family I waited a week. Im still getting some in the mail.. Due date was 09/03

My deadline is 9/25, 2 weeks from today. we are getting between 1-3 a day I am going to start calling on Oct 1 I think.

my RSVP due date is 9/18...I'm missing RSVPs accounting for about 75-80 guests...I think I'll give them 5 days past the due date to see if anybody put them in the mailbox on the 18th and then the phone calls will begin. but I'm going to have my mom and FMIL call respective family members and their friends...FH will ask his friends and co-workers and I will ask mine. this way its not so overwhelming

Melissa, in your case, I don't know that you need to call right away - you have a large amount of time between your rsvp deadline and your wedding. you could probably wait until oct 1 as well to make calls.

I waited 3 days after the date and then sent 'friendly reminder' emails. The longer you wait, the longer it'll take for them to respond.

We did an early RSVP date so we can invite a B list. But I don't think at this point that is going to happen.

Ohhhh, ok. Well then, in that case, I would start immediately after your deadline. How big is your b list?
