RSVPs

So, we sent out invitations to 272 people. Initially we were worried that we would have too many people, but we have gotten a lot of regrets so far.

We are still missing 40-45 reply cards, but we are at 155 people coming so far. We have about 50 people that aren't coming....some that we knew weren't and others that are really a surprise to us

My FH's aunt isn't coming and didn't even give a valid reason.....she didn't come to his cousin's wedding either.

Anyway, I am a little disappointed that so many people that we really wanted there aren't going to come......but I am not going to let it ruin our day!!

Keep your fingers crossed that we get a lot of good news from the rest of the replies!!

We had a few suprise no's too....and at first it bothered me, but honestly i got over it really fast, because i know the people i want to be there will.
Also, i think the economy is affecting everyone (OOT's) so perhaps some guest simply can not afford to travel or the expenses....

You will have a beautiful day whether 50 people show up or 500.

Our minimum is 200. I am sure that we will be okay with that! 198 at the absolute minimum and that doesn't include the children or vendors or ourselves!

Thank you....I know we will have a wonderful time and will be surrounded by our loved ones! I am not worried but it really seems as though some people have no excuse.

Oh well, sometimes things happen beyond our control!! Still can't wait for the big day!!!

ITA . With the economy being the way it is, a lot of people probably can't afford the trip or even a gift maybe, so that could be why, i wouldn't take it to heart... And you will still have a wonderful wedding anyway!

We knew most OOT guests weren't coming. We were surprised that 3 people are traveling from Ireland and a few are coming from Florida.

I know the economy is tough, so I understand.

I am not going to let it ruin anything about the wedding!! We are still so excited about everything and now we can take that extra money and use it to fix up our co-op once we move in!!! Or to pamper ourselves on our honeymoon....yeah massages!!!
