So I was thinking of putting on my RSVP's (as I do not want to have to deal with extra guests)...
'___ seats have been reserved in your honor'
My question is (for those who have done this) ..
Did you just write in the number? How did it look?
As I am doing my invites, I initially thought I was going to print each card with the corresponding #, but I think that will be way too time consuming!
I am doing this but the person who is designing the invites will be printing the number for each guest. I don't think it would look bad written in (maybe a calligrapher could write in the number ) HTH

We had it say something like... _______ Accepts with Pleasure _______ Declines with regret _______ Number attending
So they checked off if they were coming or not and then put the number of people.

THIS IS SOOO SMART!!!! This would have eased my anxieties about extra guests! I've already ordered my invites so it's too late. If there are any problems we're just going to have to call people and be blunt about the number of guests. I really hope this doesn't happen though. UGH! So smart....

We'll be combined the 'X seats are reserved in your honor' and '____Number of guests attending' to make sure they know how many people are actually invited, and we know how many people are coming!
