RSVP's

RSVP's

Okay so I have a question.... On my RSVP I have

Number of guests_______________

Names ______________________

_____ ______
Adults Children

Now I found out that my hall is free for 0-4, half price for 5-11, and 10%off Teens. So how do I word the RSVP so I know the ages without making it look tacky????

Re: RSVP's

I would just let them RSVP as you have it.

AFTER you receive the responses, call/email (whatever) Mr. & Mrs. Jones who say they are bringing their two kids. I wouldn't say 'Tell me how old your kids are because I'm going to be saving a boatload of money if your kids are small.'

I would say something like 'We're trying to get a sense of the age groups at the reception so we can plan an appropriate menu for them. [like if your hall provides chicken fingers, etc. for the little ones] How old are the kids now? Looking forward to seeing all of you at the wedding!'

Just ask after you get the responses. Or have others ask for you. 'say when is little Johnny's birthday? How old is he going to be? Oh wow.'

I really wouldn't.

If you're inviting them to the wedding, I'm sure you or someone in your family knows how old (roughly) the kids are.

Agreed. And estimating is probably fine...noone will be checking their IDs or anything

But if you really dont know for a couple I'm sure you can ask after you get the rsvp back like the others suggested
