RSVP's are coming in..

RSVP's are coming in..

..and the adding-on of guests has already started. I mailed the invites on Wed of last week. I've received 8 rsvps - and of the 8 - 2 people have added onto their #. Is this happening to other people?

One is my sister's friend and the other is a member of my mom's church. She listed her adult daughter whom I've never met before.

Yes! This happened to me this week. FH's friend invited/RSVP'ed for her girlfriend.

I just don't get people....Weddings make some people think that they have carte blanche to do and say what they want.

So what do you do now? Call them and say - I'm sorry you can't bring so & so? I hate situations like that...

My MOH is going to take care of that for me. My girlfriend had a situation where people were actually crossing out her #'s and putting in their own.
People need to understand that you have budgets.

That's exactly what I did. I email FH's friend and told her that I had a list of family that I hadn't invited yet bc I'm waiting for other people to decline. We are way over on our guest list and my first obligation is to invite family. I told her that FH never mentioned he wanted to invite the girl when we did the guest list.
