RSVP's are going to be a nitemare already!

Haha so I got two RSVP's today for people I invited with a guest. In the '# of guests attending' spot they both put 1. So i just checked to make sure they were coming alone and they were like 'no im bringing a guest, I wrote 1 guest'.. uh no thats supposed to be 2!!

Also my dad invited a few people he works with and one of the guys was filling out the RSVP at work and put 5 in the # attending when I only invited him and his wife and then asked my dad if he could bring a possible 6th person. hahahaha

My dad said no you can bring your wife and thats it. I dont even know these people!! like I want their entire extended family there...

which by the way I had a dream about the wedding and that family showed up with 20 extra people

RSVP's are a blast huh!?

This sounds like a nightmare... I am so not ready to deal with this at all... I advised FH he would be dealing with these kind of issues...

I had two people do the same exact thing… I was just happy I found out now instead of at the wedding!

Oh and I’m 10 days away and STILL have 3 people who won’t give me a definite yes or no!

that is insane. I would make that decision for them!

I've been okay with receiving responses so far, although one person said they responded the day after getting it but it never came back to me.

How could you put 5 when only two were invited!?!?!?! People are so funny.

Whats even funnier is that he asked my dad if he could bring a possible 6th??!! um You cant even bring 5.. but he didnt bother to ask about those! lol

OMG I can't believe that a work person put 5 people!!!! and then wanted a 6th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's insane!!! What is wrong with people??

I just got my sample invitations and I don't know what I'm going to put on the RSVP card for the wording. I hear sooo many horror stories... I'm scared to make it confusing or to give people any kind of reign over it.

Haha Luckily for me my sense of humor is still intact and all of this made me laugh.. i am sure in another month or so all of this will make me cry

That sounds like a royal pain. None of my family has RSVP'ed but yet they tell my mom oh we're calling so wth send the damn card.

I don't have to deal with this yet. But I am glad people on this site warned me that people do this. I can't believe people ask to add more people when only 2 were invited? That is crazy!

ughhhhh I'm sending mine out in a week or two and I don't even have a # attending line.... I am hoping people are smart enough to write names and not assume they can bring 5 extra ppl lol
