RSVP's are starting and I'm already p*ssed off
Yesterday was only the second day of getting my RSVPs back and it's already starting. We didn't invite people with guests unless it was a serious relationship because then our list would be 400 people (we're at 299). Well my parents friend was dating this girl but my parents didn't know her name so it only said 'Mr. Joe Smith and Guest'. Well they broke up recently and we didn't know. So yesterday I got the RSVP card back and it says '1 for now'. What the hell does that mean? 1 for now? It's not a BBQ it's my wedding! You don't get to decide last minute what you want to do and who you want to bring! To top it all off my parents think it's funny and my dad thinks he did 'the right thing' because he didn't just put 2 and not bring anyone. To me the 'right thing' would have been to write '1' and not bring anyone and hang out with all of your friends. My mom tends to think he's going to bring his daughter. I didn't invite his daughter because I haven't hung out with her in awhile and I needed to cut someplaces. So that would just make me feel like utter cr*p!
UGH! I'm so p*ssed off and apparently my parents don't get that I have had this fight with my FIL's and told them NO ONE can bring a guest unless they are serious in the relationship, engaged, or married. This is going to be a LONG process!
