that is so annoying! what is wrong with people yesterday was the first day that i didn't have an RSVP come in the mail since i sent out the invites and it really pissed me off b/c i'm still missing a lot. i swear, i'm going to hunt these ppl down

my longest stretch of no cards was 6 days. that really annoyed me!!!

And I think some people, won't mention names, are waiting until the last minute because they are going to round up a date. GRRRRRRRRRR

This is EXACTLY what is happening to me right now. DUDE ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO THE WEDDING. You do not need to 'round up' some rando to attend my wedding.

OMGGGGG one of my old coworkers called me this weekend to tell me that some ppl think they can bring a date!!! she's going to try and tell them it was only addressed to one person but these ppl think that just b/c i left the # of guests attending as a blank means that they can bring somebody WHYYYYYYYYYYY i'll have a lot of coworkers there and they can all be together - AND THEY'RE ALL SINGLE

ewww, jerks. Use that coworker to spread the word that they are not invited with a guest. I think our peers who haven't been to many weddings are kinda clueless imo. I think some of my friends don't even know that money is preferred from some comments I've heard recently

i told her to tell them that if they bring a date, they're going to sit with older couples but seriously, why bring somebody that i don't know and probably won't have fun anyways b/c you'll be hanging out with others? Seriously!!! and some ..i mean a lot don't know that money is preferred. i already got a few gifts from 1 as wedding gifts...fun!

FH's family are the biggest culprits both in terms of not RSVPing, cousins fishing for dates befoe responding and sending cheap as hell gifts.

We got one gift that was a nice gift, but let's face it, the cost of it would not cover ONE of the two plates.

And another cousin whose wedding we had to spend 2 nights in a Hyatt for and we gave a very generous gift for, gave us a gift through our HM registry that would not cover both plates and is over $100 less than what we gave them!. And they are really wealthy and much older and when they got married I was still in college..

Sorry, I am just letting my bish-ness fly

that is also a definite sign of their inexposure to weddings and their age I've had friends say to me like 'OH, you should get cigar rollers, get manolos/jimmy choos, louboutins, do it on a saturday, OMG get this, get that blah blah blah' umm...you have no CLUE how much things cost, do you?

Seriously, when it's their turn, they will have an Oprah 'AH HAH' moment where they are like 'ohhhh, i get it now'

Yes- people have no idea how much cost goes into this!!!!!
