Rsvp's Why Do People Hold Them ??

It's so annoying when people hold there RSVP'S till the last minute.

Any party I have had they wait till the last minute to send them.... Mine say till the 15th I have made a few calls me from Florida to Ny and 4 of them are not coming so why not send the Rsvp ?

I have 20 out still and it is annoying...

I'm still waiting for 20 myself.

I was married over a month ago. People stink.

omg....FH's friend emailed him to say: i spoke with my wife and she hadn't sent in the rsvp b/c she thought i did, but i thought she did...we don't want to be those annoying people who don't send it in....(they are also not coming b/c his brother is getting married the same day...?) well guess what??? SEND IT IN. geez. i don't need an email saying oops, send the card. i think people don't understand or remember how frustrating this is....i am always soooooo good about RSVPing that i am beyond annoyed with my family who all have yet to RSVP!!

honestly, the worst part for me was the guest list and getting the invites out..this just mocks my hard work....i want to call people and say, it's stamped....had i known how difficult writing in a number and a name would be, i would've prefilled them out and given you 2..a yes and a no card!!!

I know!!! My FI said he used to because he never knew if he was going to bring a date. But I wish they'd send it!!!!

People forget. They lose it under a pile of mail. They think that if they tell you over the phone that it counts. They think that if the RSVP date is 6/1 that's the day that they can mail it out. They wait to see if they can find a date.

But it's really, REALLY annoying.

30 responses. most of the people who waited to respond are no's... so not only do they torture you and make you wait for their reply, it is a stinkin no anyway. i HATE this part of wedding planning!

The worst part was that even after I asked people about them because the date had passed, I got a whole bunch of well, you know I'm coming. Well, no, actually, I don't because you didn't respond and I can't keep track that way. I invited over 200 people - can you imagine if they all had me guess or assume. It's just inconsiderate.

One of my good friends recently got married. He had to call/email me to see if I was coming. I thought it was a given that I was coming. I'm actually not used to mailing anything. I pay all my bills electronically, do everything via email.

Apologies from the lazy responder side....

Karma is going to bite me when it comes to get my RSVPs...
