Rude guest at my wedding....VENT

My close friend from FL of 10+ years brought her 'new' boyfriend of 6 months to my wedding. I let them stay in my apartment in Manhattan for 2 nights before the wedding. They attended my RD....he was rude and told our waitress she wasn't bringing his drinks fast enough, They ate and ran back to the city to catch a comedy show by 11. I felt like he rushed her out of my RD, basically was just there for the free food and drinks.
At the wedding, he LEFT after the appetizer was served!!! He told my friend that he didn't like that she was drinking, so he was leaving. She had 2 drinks and was NOT drunk by any means. He embarrassed her by leaving her alone, without a date at the table. I saw his untouched dinner plate of filet mignon at his empty seat. My friend was near tears telling me the story why he left while my DH and I were trying to enjoy our dinner. I am so angry....what a jerk, I am sorry I offered my place to him, I want to tell him off, but she decided forgive him, so what can I do,,, ,thanks for listening!

unfortunately the best thing for you to do is to stay out of it. even though i am the same way & would want to tell someone like that off, i have learned that people in bad relationships need to see it for themselves.

Ugh my ex did that to me at a wedding. He was being such a b*tch and broke out in the middle of the reception. I had to hitch a ride home with another couple.

Jerkoff.

Hence why he is now my EX!

OMG! One of my friends has been engaged to her d'bag BF for 8 years now! (They've been together for 10) All of our friends hate him and she knows it. Why she stays with him, we have no idea. For the first year we all just avoided the 'do you like him' conversation. After that we all busted out with 'we HATE him' and even had several interventions with her about why she puts up with the way he treats her. It's beyond awkward being around him now.

My ex was like that. We would all make plans and last minute he would pull out. Once we were going to take 2 cars and he bailed leaving like 10 ppl with one car.

No matter wat my friends told me i stuck around him. I really did need to see it for myself.
