I don't understand what is so hard about sending back a stupid card if your answer is no. Just check it and mail it back!
My invites have been out for over 4 weeks and I'm 3 days away from the response deadline. I started asking people today, are you coming or not?! Do I have to wait until after the 15th?
I am so frustarted...I have so many things to get done with names, numbers, hotel rooms, etc. Just give me an answer!
Sorry to vent...this is so frustrating. I know you can feel my pain.

We waited a week after the RSVP date and then started calling.

Our RSVP deadline was last Tuesday and we still have 20 outstanding (40 ppl). I'm going to start calling tomorrow, although they're all on FH's side, so he'll be doing the calling

For people that were close to me or DH that we happened to see in person that had not responed before the due date, we made a joke about it and people were ok. They usually told us right then and there. For anyone else, I divided the list up between who invited the person and had them call a week after the due date.

We still had a lot of MIA RSVP's when our date passed (9/1), but we waited until the following week (about 4 days) to start asking people. A lot of them mailed it on the actual RSVP date. And we still haven't gotten about 4 of them back, but we have gotten verbal answers to those.
Waiting for the RSVPs to come is the most frustrating theing ever!!

I'm right with you with our wedding a day after yours. Our rsvp date is Sept 16th. I'm going to give people about 5 days past that and then we're going to start calling. I totally know what you mean, though---seriously--how hard is it to mail that thing back!?!? It already has a stamp...just drop it in the mail people!!!
