Ruff morning..need hugs

so i had to call my dad's insurence company cuz his prespription is almost done and im so frustarted cuz someone was supposed to call us 2 weeks ago and ship out a new one and they never did. And my mom just noticed that he had 4 pills left. I hate his stupid insurence ppl who work there are morons. They dont understand that i need this by monday bcuz its an important medication that he has to take everday. They telling me that they need approval, well get it today and shp it it out. ahhhhh On top of that i got into an argument with fh and this morning just suks.

Sorry to hear about that.. Is there any way you can go to the doctor and get a prescription to pick up some at a pharmancy soon. if not and the medication is really important.. hospital emergency rooms will usually have what you need or something similar

I can't pick it up at the pharmacy because they would have to order it so it would take time to. My day has leukemia, he needs special meds.

Thanks girls. I just got so frustrated with the ppl who work at the insurence because to them it might not be important, but to me it is. I dont really like talking about my dad being sick cuz its still so new. we just found out like 2 months ago so eveyone is trying to be supportive and stuff.

I take 10 pills a day and know how important it is to have your meds on time. I get my prescription through Target and have for years and they are great. Once my prescription ran out and they forgot to warn me the month before, so they filled it for me anyway so I could have my meds and then called my doctor to renew it instead of making me wait.

Those companys are terrible. FH has a severe kidney problem and needs them and we had sunrx and they gave us such trouble. I hate them all

UGH I hate insurance companies!!!!

Luckily I haven't had problems with my perscriptions, but the companies have been the WORSE in trying to get pre-authorization numbers for standard tests.

Is there a way the doctor can rewrite the perscriptions so no authorizations are needed?

Insurance companies are awful...you would think they had a heart since they are dealing with keeping people healthy and they are so rude and have no clue what they are doing....good luck...maybe the doctor has some samples that he can give you until they ship.
