No - my boss used to work at Filene's and they would never announce any of the designers. It's always a wide range of them, though.
She (my boss) just got married and was trying to get the inside scoop for herself and for me, but even as an H.R. executive with the company, no info would be divulged! They keep it strongly under wraps.

Re: RUNNING OF THE BRIDES
chaos isnt even the word lmaooo
i arrived in the city at liek 6:30 am and held the spot for Kim and Janice (LIW girls)
PUREE MAYHEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
like 1000 girls all stripping down tot hweir bra and underwear.. cameraaas everywhere.. news reporters... its crazy cuz what they do is, they get guys to come with them.. and just take as many dresses as they can and throw them on the floo. like .. 1 group had about 50 dresses.. and they wont let u try them on unless u have a dress in the size the bride wants to TRADE. its insane
And yes, from what I've heard, early in the day it's chaotic. Not so bad late in the day, and there supposedly are quite a lot of gowns remaining at the end of the day.

Re: RUNNING OF THE BRIDES
I think I'd call in 'sick' on Friday and go IF I had already tried on dresses and knew my gown size and what styles looked best on me and such. But since I haven't started dress shopping yet, I'd just be a lost puppy in there.
(I'm starting my dress shopping this Saturday though - woohoo!)
