FH has a handyman/home improvement side business and we have one homeowner that has been putting us in the poorhouse!!!! A complete interior renovation, poor FH has been working on it for 4 months! They keep changing things, paying late, etc. We are probably going to LOSE money on this job
I'm glad FH had the balls to call the guy up and rip him a new one...a check will be waiting tomorrow for pickup I am not going to presume to know their financial situation, but I will assume 2 very high up SCPD employees who took on a project like this aren't exactly hurting for $$ yet they nickel and dime us every which way.
I feel they are butt raping us
Sorry I needed to vent because this project has been very stressfull

That stinks and I'm sorry! Good for your FH for standing up for himself though and HOPEFULLY they get into paying you on time and all. Somehow when you stop work on something the money they need to pay you ALL OF A SUDDEN shows up!

I know!!! That to me is what is SO mind boggling! They came to US with the project so you have to to think they know what's involved...LIKE PAYING!!!

If these people are nickel and diming him, even though they work in SCPD, this is how they keep from spending their money. Although FH has spoken to them, be sure to tell him to stand his ground. These seem like the kind of people who will do anything in order to pay pennies for the work.
I mean come on!! if you want work done on your house, you need to pay up or shut up!!!

Girl, my FH owns his own flooring business, and there are days where I literally watch him put his head through a wall... Some people have no consideration...
