A friend just told me that if you are getting married at Russo's you no longer have to use the florist that they recommened. They sent out a letter last week that said you can now use anyone you choose and not just the two that they had demanded. GOOD MOVE

Thats cool. My friend just booked them and her moms friend was going to do teh flowers so that will be good. I didnt like that anyway.

Thats good news my neice is getting married there in 9/05 I will tell her.. What I dont get is who is the catering hall to tell you who you HAVE to use as your florist.. What if you had a family member or a past relationship with a florist that you loved. I dont think the catering halls have any right to tell the brides what to do. Its your wedding and your shelling out the big bucks for it it should be your decision who your vendors are!!!!!!

I received the letter too. I already booked w/ Pedestals last Dec. and we ae paying a pretty penny. Well I guess its too late now.

Thats great for Russo Brides....
Although I got married in March and used another florist anyway....
Russo did not give me any problems!! They just requested that they had proper insurance....So i was happy!
