Russo's Girls - Cake Question

Just curious what types of cakes were included with the quote, how many fillings, etc...

I was told that we have a bunch of different options to choose from but we don't do the cake tasting til June and we're getting married in July. I'm going for our food tasting this Saturday (FFIL is coming in from MA)...I'll ask there and report back...how's that?!

Ok ladies, here's the deal with the standard package and cakes...

About 3 months before the wedding you and your FH will get invited in for a cake tasting with other couples that are getting married at Russo's. Audrey, our BM, said that we really NEED to go bc the cakes are amazing. There will be examples of cakes there too.

There are approximately 20-25 different cakes you can choose from and there are roughly 30-40 different filling and cake options. About 2 months before the wedding, you'll go in and tell your BM what type of cake you want (and things can be upgraded and changed based on the pictures that you see) and what filling/cake.

And all of that is just included in the STANDARD package ...we're not getting the upgraded cake package (I can't remember the name of the upgraded package) bc we're getting the venetian hour (I posted another thread about that...make sure you look for it), but I highly doubt that anyone would be upset over the non-upgraded cake!!
