I am looking to have a wedding at Russo's on the Bay in April of 2008.
Has anyone had there wedding there or been a guest at a wedding? What do you think?
Any opinions, ideas??

Honestly I have been there about 3 times and each time I disliked it more and more. I don't think the food is all they make it out to be. In my opinion I think there is way too much hype about Russo's

Re: Russo's on the Bay
You should check out the official Russo's on the Bay thread - just do a search and you'll find it. I've been to Russo's many times (and am getting married there in a few months) and I have to say I have never had better quality and quantity of food at any other establishment. Their service is really top notch - your napkin doesn't have a chance to even reach the floor when it's falling because there's a waiter/waitress there already folding it for you. The quantity of the food is insane, but what really sets them apart is the quality. They book up VERY fast so if you're really interested go visit their office and speak with a banquet manager (I reccomend Audrey she's great).
i have been there many many times. the last time we went there- about a year and a half ago, the food wasnt so great. i think they changed chefs or something, the portions were a lot smaller.
And there is just too many things going on at one time..
For waht you pay for russo's you want it to be absolutely the best food- coming from an italian, i was a bit disappointed

I've been to a wedding there and the cocktail hour food and vienesse was awesome. The dinner was ok, nothing special. I wasn't crazy about the location and the look of Russo's is not my style. I don't remember them having amazing service. Most of the food was awesome tho.

Re: Russo's on the Bay
the food is delicious! i was literally stuffed to the gills.... there was a choice of 12 entrees at a wedding i went to there.
but it's WAY TOO over the top and gltizy for me.... but, if you like coming out of the floor and lots of marble and chandeliers... then go for it. it's also very expensive too, so if you're on a budget, probably not the place to look.

Same here. The food is amazing!! I've been to 3 weddings there. Not really my style and kind of out of my budget.
