I went there to a wedding about 9 years ago and it was fabulous!! the food and service was the tops! Im not sure what the decor is now...I dco remember then it wasnt someplace that I would wanted to have my wedding at...a little too glitzy for me but everyone has thier own taste.

I was at a wedding there about 8 years ago and it was fabulous - the food was excellent, we had a ball. It was a little glitzy at the time, but that was a while back - no one noticed though we were having such a great time!
I have been there for a few weddings. They have all been great. It is definitely a glitzy place. Depending on the room you choose the Bride and Groom can appear through a wall or through the floor.
It has a very good reputation in Queens but also known for being pricey.

My friend`s sister was supposed to get married there this month. Unfortunately the wedding was called off. Anyway, it is an expensive place. I`m not sure exactly what they were paying per plate, but it was over $100, and this is only March!!
One word of caution, if you do go there to check it out, make sure to ask them about vendors. I`ve heard they only allow for certain vendors to be used at their facility. Make sure you find out who would be permitted to work your affair if you have it there.

It is a beautiful place. When I started planning my February 2002 wedding we looked there and the prices were really not that bad. Only drawbacks are you must use there florists and they are the most expensive ones around. (Stephans and Spitz and Peck) They also have a number of affairs going on at once so they said they do not do ceremonies there on Saturday nights. Since we are an interfaith couple and needed a Saturday night ceremony at the reception hall it did not work out for us. You should check it out. They also do expos every month. Call and find out when the next date is.
