Russo's on the bay mini review
As I am sitting here eating a candy apple from the VH that I stole from kids (i took 4 of them), I figured let me let the Russo's brides know how the wedding went!!!
Wedding was on Saturday night and it was held in the Tivoli room......
The CH was OUT OF THIS WORLD.......we walked in and first of all, the piano is so nicely decorated with pumpkins, hay, etc....very cute for the fall.......
THE FOOD at the CH was unreal.....everything from the fresh mozerella, pasta, lobster, sausage, etc...unreal. I must have refilled my plate atleast 3 times.....
then we moved to the tivoli room for the reception.....it was so nicely decorated (she had fall theme) and the bride and groom came from the floor! We started off with a seafood salad (it was good but I am not a fan of it, so i didn't eat much) but it was very fresh and tasty (according to FIL and FH)......then we had a salad with balsamic vinegar - AWESOME!
THENNNNNNN we had the hard decision of picking from 11 entrees....I chose the Filet of Sole.....it was SO FRESH AND AMAZING - it was flaking off and every piece was unreal. FH got duck and said it was phenomenal as well. FIL got shrimp oreganatta and I had one, it really tasted like nothing I had before....They had sides of mashed potatos stuffed with sweet potatos (AMAZING)......
so after I ate like a horse, we danced the night away....
THENNNN they announce the VH - O M G.....my eyes bugged out as usual and I ran to the room as they opened up the doors....amazing. Everything from a gelato stand, candy buffet, chocolate foutains, zepoles, waffles, EVERYTHING you can think of...
If you are getting married in the fall, they have the entire place decorated very adorable with pumpkins, hay stacks, etc.....its very cute!!!!
bottom line.....as usual, I had an amazing time and I honestly think I gained about 10 lbs that night but it was so worth it.....
You will all have people RAVING about your food the next day and you have nothng to worry about....
OHH and the bathrooms are really clean - I took pics if you guys want ! LOL
