russos on the bay question

Hi Ladies!

I know Russo's is very strict on their policy with the bride & groom not being able to bring any type of food into the facility. For example I had wanted ben & jerrys to do an ice cream cart to go with my Fall in Vermont theme and we werent allowed to do it..I understand their policy 1,000% but I want to get a grooms cake for FH from a perticular bakery he loves. Has any Russo's bride had a grooms cake brought to russos for their FH. Was it allowed?

I am not 100% positive about that... but i think the grooms cake is an exception (what if u wanted to bring in a particular wedding cake....ya know what i mean).... but like i said i am not positive. I am sorry i could not have been more help!!

On a total side note.... how much do you love Russo's?!?!?!?! What room are you getting married in?

Regardless of the type of cake it is I dont know if they allow it being that they dont allow outside food ...I just wasnt sure. I dont think they will though

I'm thinking they wouldn't allow it because they have tehir own bakery on the premises
I had mine at the rehearsal dinner (but not b/c Russo's wouldn't let me, it's just when i wanted to do it)

I would call and ask your BM- I am sure that if you wanted to do a grooms cake they might make accomodations.

I hope by food they don't mean I can't bring my wine bottle favors into the facility- that would just stink or do they mean food, food?
