Russo's/Vetro dilemma update
I guess we decided to stay with Russo's only because Vetro is SO TINY.
Srsly, if you're gonna have a wedding there, it better be like 60 people. The biggest problem was the area for CH. It's so small, IDK how they intend to fit 100 people in there with the food ... and we have a jazz trio booked to play during CH and there was NO room for them. It was just way too small![]()
IDK why Russo's/Vetro doesn't have a room where they can comfortably fit 120-140 people without the room being so big that he'd rather have a party of 200 people in there.
We're just going to have to figure out a way to make it work with the $$$.
I told FH: You have to lie in the bed you made.
You can't decide after the fact that you can't see spending so much on a party. Maybe next time you'll listen to me more before you get so carried away.
I also need to learn to be more assertive with him and stop deferring to his judgment just because what he's saying is what I WANT to be true when what I'm saying is what's ACTUALLY true. But this particular decision a year ago was hard because his parents were all for Russo's and so was he and I felt ganged up on. I wanted Russo's but I knew it was going to be hard to pay for.
At least I know my wedding is still going to be amazing, we're just gonna be SO broke afterwards, haha.
Thanks for all the support, concern and suggestions ladies.
