Can anyone give me some feedback on this area. I am looking at purchasing a condo in the area. Thanks

Re: Sachem School District/ Holbrok area
That's where we're going to start looking! What complex are you considering?
I think it's a really nice area. It's a good school district and it's a really nice town. I drove around the area looking at a couple of the complexes and e/t is clean and well kept (as well as the SFH's). I also like the Holtsville area which is close to Holbrook. There's a really nice townhouse community right off the LIE in Holtsville. Good luck!
ETA: The Sachem SD includes many areas (i'm not sure of all of them).

sachem is a really good school district but very large, not that that is a bad thing just a fact. I beleive that they recently divided sachem into 2 parts becuase it was sooo big. holbrook is very nice area. imo

I live in Holbrook in a townhouse and it's really nice. I have a friend that works at Sachem and it's a really good school. Big, but good... They just built a new high school and split the high school into two 9-12 buildings
I really like the area.

Re: Sachem School District/ Holbrok area
I like the area a lot. My parents owned a condo in Woodgate Village from the beginning (1974) until we moved in 1984. I stayed in the district. And now I teach in the district! Woodgate is an older complex, but because of this, the trees are big and the landscaping is well-grown in. I have tons of memories from that place!!!

Re: Sachem School District/ Holbrok area
I have lived in Holbrook my entire life (except when I lived in N. Patchogue for 4 months). I think it is a nice area. There are no 'bad' streets, at least where I live (right by Mamma Lombardis). Good Luck!
