SAD.

SAD.

My DH father is moving to Florida. My DH was there all day today and yesterday Helping pack up the truck and clean up his old room. He is bringing home all the stuff from his old room here. We have a three bedroom apt. Our extra room is covered with baseball cards wrestling figures and cards. I feel very overwelmed. But anyway, I feel bad for him cause this is the last family member he had here. His grandparents are there, His mother is there His sister BIL and their 4 kids just moved there. His Brother moved there in like April. He dosent talk to any of his aunts and uncles who live here. They have been invited to e-party shower and wedding and they didn't come to any of it. We have no idea what happened but we asume it had to do with some kind of a fight between them and his dad (their brother) When we went to Florida last week we stayed with his sister and He was so excited to see her and the kids as they were excited to see us. He wants to move SO BAD. His grandfather bought his sister a 350,000.00 house in Florida and his brother 200,000. 00 House. We haven't gotten a penny because they moved to Florida and we havent which is fine cause Id rather earn it. But with him it's not a matter of the money (as it was with his sister and brother) He just misses the kids the most. My brother lives about 30 minutes from them. But my mother father aunts uncles all live here. I don't want to leave my whole family. Its so depressing. Thanks for listening.

Thanks girls. Like a quarter of me wants to go but at the same time my mother lives here and my brother lives there. My brother has a son (I think u all know that situation) and it kills my mom that she can't see her first and only grandchild. I can't take her other grandchildren (when we decide to have them) away from her. I ask her every now and then 'would you go' She tells me I can't retire for another 7 years.

When we where there last weekend I saw the beautiful house my SIL has 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms (on that is in her master suite with huge bathtub and seperate shower and little room for the toilet) The inground heated screened in pool she has. Its really nice. I would never be able to afford that here and I don't want to live in this apt. For that much longer Im ready to move on... (espically with the cousins downstairs)

UGH...

She works for Nassau Community College. She is the supervisor of the Accts. Payable Dept. She has 7 more years until she gets her full pension I guess.

Honestly Its not like we have jobs we couldn't do there. I am working in a supermarket right now. I quit my other job before the wedding because I was being harrased. I am scheduled to take a test to become a store manager.

My DH works for Cablevision. Good Job Good benefits Great Perks. But its not anything we can't do down there. My SIL said she could get me a job in Florida working in the school where she works starting at like 12 an hour.

That's really rough. A lot of Fhs family is already in FL and his parents are thinking of moving there as well, now that their kids are out of the house. They may saty b/c now they have gradnkids, but I think FSIL might want to move back to FL as well. That's really a difficult position to have to be in
