My dad's girlfriend for over twenty years died on the 21 i just found out yesterday. She was sick for a year with lung, breast, and brain cancer nobody told me because My father and I are not speaking.
I feel like something has been taken away from me. I never got a chance to say goodbye to her. I couldn't stop crying yesterday today I am so sad about to start crying.

Another lie from my grandmother. YEsterday she told me that she would be cremated this week now I found out she is already buried. At the same place her parents are buried. As I told my grandmother its a public place nobody can stop me from going there.

I'm so sorry. You should have been told. I had a similar situation with a friend who was also suffering from cancer. She died in early December and I felt so awful. At least you didn't know. I was afraid to call because I knew I'd break down and I didn't want to upset her. I kept saying I'd do it later and it never came. I'm sure you dad's girlfriend knew how you felt about her.

I really hope she knew how much i loved her.
my grandmother tells me know i have to forget. how can you. as i told her you guys have had a year to deal with this i have only had two days. i also told her that my heart is broken how could you do something 8 years ago and still pay for it? she said i broke everyone's hearts. but am i supposed to be the beat stick for everyone. let's see how many punches and stabs can she take. she is still standing give her so many more. i feel like i am in shock today moving around empty.

It's been 8 years. If you've straightened youself out (depending on what it was) don't beat yourself up. They should have told you and that's all that matters. I hate when people use other things to justify what they did wrong. She meant something to you and you should have been told. End of story. I am very sorry for your loss and the way your family is acting towards you.

tHANK YOU. I have changed I work so hard try to take care and do the right thing. But my past is always brought back up in my face. its not like i did something really bad either. never stole never did drugs all i did was stay out really late. and spend lots of money
