Sad

So as I've mentioned FH lives in Florida. Now that the holidays are coming around and the wedding planning is in full swing I miss him more than anything!!!!

We originally planned on him moving up here around this time and doing the bulk of the planning together. We ran into some unexpected expenses and now we've pushed the move date to mid-Feb.

Most of the work will be done by then!!!

I know it's not his fault and I don't want to take it out on him, but this planning is supposed to create a lot of wonderful memories for us. Instead it has become me frustrated all the time and sad about not having him here.

How can I involve him more in the wedding planning?

for one thing, although you'll be doing alot of the vendor booking without him, the final choices in terms of a must play list for the band/dj, or picking out the ACTUAL flowers for the CPs won't be until much later. he'll certianly be around for that. put off what you can until he comes----you'll still have a full 7 months before your wedding with him to help you out. save what you can for when he comes.

Re: Sad

Many brides have their FH right here in NY and don't get any help whatsoever frm them, so please try not to upset yourself over that.

I can sympathize with missing him around the holidays - but just think of how special his coming to New York will be when he gets here!!!

It is difficult to cope because we do want to involve FH in all the planning, but other than sending him pics and having him on the phone there is nothing you can do. The time for him to move back will be here before you know it.

In the interim, try keeping busy doing stuff. Between Feb and Sept you will do a lot of planning stuff together.
