Sad about Frances (vent)

I'm sorry for everyones loved ones and for those of us who live in FL and I'm sorry if this sounds selfish, but I am supposed to visit my sister who lives in GA this weekend, and I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to fly in. (She lives right on the FL/GA border in St. Mary's) I am flying into Jacksonvill Airport. I've been trying to track the storm, but my mom has got me all paranoid that my trip is going to be ruined. I'm so sad. I was so excited to see my sister and my nephew.

Thanks for listening. I just needed to get it out.

I wish I could, but I bought tickets that cannot be changed, plus I don't have any vacation days left because of our honeymoon...oh well. I'm just going to have to play it by ear.

You might be able to get in early. All of our news stations here in FL they are telling us that they are waving flight charges if you are trying to get back home before the storm or trying to get out before the storm. Tropical Storm force winds are slated to start tomorrow night in South Florida. Since you are flying it north of the storm you might be able to get a flight tomorrow night or first thing saturday morning.

I've been glued to the National Weather Service website. I'm leaving Saturday at 6:50 am, so hopefully I'll be okay. I guess this is what I get for trying to fly south during hurricane season. My sister was joking with me saying, 'well, you might be able to get here, but you might not be able to leave' They may also have to evacuate...well, it will be a memorable vacation anyway you look at it.
